This extremely easy chocolate cake recipe is one of my favorites. It’s amazingly easy to make and tastes fabulous! I’ve tested many similar recipes and produced my own recipe proportions, so you don’t have to experiment. You can just use the recipe below!

Very Easy Chocolate Cake Recipe
Ingredients:
- Organic Unbleached Flour – 2 1/2 cups
- Aluminum-free Baking powder – 3 teaspoons
- Coconut sugar – 1 cup
- Organic Cacao/Cocoa – 10 Tablespoons
- 2 large Eggs
- Vanilla extract – 1 teaspoon
- Warm Milk (any kind) – 1 cup
- Melted Butter – 1/2 cup
- 1 cup Boiling hot water
Frosting:
- Soft Butter – 8 oz (227 gr)
- Organic Cream cheese (room temp.) – 8 oz (227 gr)
- Vanilla extract – 1 tsp
- Coconut sugar – 1 cup
How to make a very easy chocolate cake:
- Preheat the oven to 350 F. Prepare a 12-inch round cake pan. Place unbleached parchment paper on the bottom and spray some avocado oil or melted butter.
- Sift the flour and cacao. Add coconut sugar and baking powder. Mix the dry ingredients.
- Add 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract, 1 cup warm milk, and a half cup of melted butter. Mix until smooth.
- When the batter is smooth, add 1 cup of boiling hot water. Mix again until smooth.
- Bake for 60 minutes in a preheated oven. Let cool.
- While the cake is baking, prepare the frosting. Whip 8 oz butter and 8 oz cream cheese. Add coconut sugar and vanilla extract. Whip until smooth. Set aside.
- Cut off the top bumpy part of the cake. The top part is for making crumbs.
- Cut the rest of the cake into 2 or 3 parts horizontally. Spread the frosting onto the layers. Make sure the cake is not hot, otherwise the frosting may melt.
- Cover the top and the sides of the cake with frosting. Cover the whole cake with the crumbs you prepared.
- Cover the cake and rest for 2-3 hours at room temperature. After that, you can place it in the fridge.
